CONNECTEDNESS
CONNECTING YOU WITH YOUR MIND & BODY, ROOTED IN NATURE
The Well Being Hive are pleased to announce our collaboration with Nancarrow Farm. We have teamed up to offer luxury retreats rooted in self reflection and nature, bringing together social connectivity and inquisitive minds.
The Old Mill has been carefully chosen to provide a safe, communal space, which brings people together. The barn has been earnestly restored and boasts impressive rustic features, however allows for a cosy environment to enjoy some down time to reconnect with yourself.
The large open-plan kitchen and living space on the top floor, allows for a private dining space, where all meals are prepared lovingly by head chef- Jack Bristow and are designed to be enjoyed around the long kitchen farm house table. This harvests a culture of social connectivity and reminds us of the importance in coming together and feeling connected.
Retreats with NANCARROW FARM
Emotions can alter your appetite, therefore our ‘connectedness’ retreat is designed to offer space, to explore this relationship and how this connects to the wider context of daily life and routine.
Through one to one and interactive experience with our professional chef, led by co-founders of the Well Being Hive, Emma & Lesley, we offer support with particular focus on the state of mind and how this informs our food choices.
Helping to connect your mind with your body, we have developed sessions using sound as meditation, which focuses on enveloping you in the relaxing, meditative noise of sound waves from crystal bowls, gongs or other instruments. This is aimed at decreasing overwhelming emotions, helping you to regulate state of mind, which is essential when exploring the body, mind connection. Sound as meditation is a time-proven method to increase awareness and inhibit the stress response therefore calming the mind and body has profound health benefits.
